Toronto power-skating camps
Holiday, March Break, PA Day and Summer — every break is a chance to close the gap. Maple Ridge Skating Academy camps are skating-first, grouped by age and skill, and run in person at our Toronto arenas. Not a learn-to-skate program: players should skate forward unassisted (ages 6+).
Concentrated days of repetition build muscle memory faster than a once-a-week class can — it's why Maple Ridge Skating Academy's Toronto hockey camps run age-and-skill grouped sessions instead of open ice time. Players come off a Maple Ridge Skating Academy camp visibly quicker.

A full week off the school calendar, on the ice instead. Players come back to their teams noticeably quicker and more efficient on their edges.
Turn a day off school into a day of measurable progress. A full-day format runs two on-ice sessions either side of a supervised break — power skating and hockey skills.
Our biggest camp of the year. Off-season is when the gap gets closed — full days split between power skating in the morning and puckhandling in the afternoon, so players arrive at fall tryouts a step ahead.
Eight weeks at Forest Hill Arena in July and August, plus August pre-training camps at Leaside Arena. Players are grouped by age and skill — we coach all levels, House League to AA. This is not a learn-to-skate program — players must be registered with a hockey association.
Full Day Camp
9:10am – 4:00pm
An immersive day that blends power skating and hockey skills. Mornings refine skating technique; afternoons focus on hockey drills and gameplay. A mid-day break with outdoor play and lunch lets players rest, bond, and recharge — so they gain both skill and a refreshed mindset (4 hrs on ice + 3 hrs outdoors).
Half Day — Power Skating (AM)
9:10 – 11:00am
Intensive morning power-skating drills built for speed, agility, and edge control, plus a deeper understanding of skating mechanics. Includes an hour of outdoor play for a balanced day (10-min break at 10:00).
Half Day — Hockey Skills (PM)
1:10 – 3:00pm
Afternoon hockey-skills development — puck handling, shooting, and situational gameplay to build confidence on the ice — combined with fun and an hour of outdoor play (10-min break at 2:00).

Spaces shown reflect current enrolment. Camps run Monday–Friday (one short 4-day week), and registration is by the week — there's no per-day option.
A representative full day — exact times vary by camp and are listed with each camp's dates and on its registration page.
